Purple Orchids!

Guys this is the first time I'm sharing my eye make-up with you. I am not a pro and my skills are self taught.  You never stop learning, do you? Just like everyone else, I'm not flawless. I have my fair share of dark circles, budding growth on eyebrows and what not. So please excuse me for that!

Hope you like my eye make-up though!

Doll Eyed ^-^

I'd firstly like to clear out that i have not been paid or given anything free from the seller or company! The product i would review was purchased by me online... This review had been in my pending list for a loooong time!

I wear prescription glasses 24/7 and those of you wear them know already how they leave those horrible marks on the bridge of your nose, no matter how light those glasses are! Besides you cant go everywhere wearing your glasses....and so i regularly wear contacts too. Those of you who are regular on contacts would also know how important the comfort factor is. The contacts should feel like you are wearing nothing at all. The shouldn't irritate the eyes.... I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, so we gotta be really careful what quality contacts we buy and from where!

These are my favorite contact lens. I've bought them for AED80. They are called Barbie Eye Shadow Gray. They are 15.8mm in diameter and are supposed to make you eyes "look bigger". They fall in the category of super-sized contact lenses. And even though they have an intricate swirly design the look very natural...
I don't personally think that they made my eyes look big but the did make them look more defined.... and pretty :D
They are extremely comfortable to wear and do not irritate the eyes at all.
You even get a free lens case along with your order in a sealed bottle!

lol my eyes look funny :D

If you are interested in buying these contact lenses or any other, you can contact Girlie Stuffs or check out her blog for more information. She has a huge collection. She is extremely sweet and responds instantly! I bug her with questions all the time and she doesn't mind at all! (she's not a friend of mine, i don't know her personally and I'm not promoting her! She is just a seller who i trust and would love to deal with again). Her collection is extremely affordable too...

Here is a whole pic of mine wearing Barbie Eye Shadow Gray.

Lemme know what you think of my contacts...
Kiss kiss,

Baby Foot... Wanna compete with my feet??? :P

I am obsessed with clean, beautiful feet... My feet should be squeaky clean, moisturized and spotless!!!! (not that they actually are!). That's how obsessed I am!

This product that I'm going to talk about works wonders! It worked for my feet (sorry I'm not brave enough to share a pic of my feet so you'd have to take my word on it, besides they are flaking right now, which is a part of the cleaning process ;)). I would never ever promote a product that i don't approve of, i promise that.

*

PROCESS:
The pack contains a pair of plastic socks which contain a lotion with natural fruit acids, which help in peeling off the dead skin cells and a pack of tapes to secure the sock on each foot. The lotion should be thoroughly rubbed onto the feet (don't forget to rub between the toes). Keep it on for 2 hours (or half an hour more if you are feet crazed like me :p) Wash off well after removing and let the absorbed acids do the magic.

*

After 2 to 7 days you would notice the skin starting to peel off (not a pretty sight, I know and it took my mean, hard skin 5 friggin' days!). But to gain something you gotta lose something. DO NOT APPLY A MOISTURIZER! It will hinder the peeling process. Peeling would go on for another 10 to 15 days. Remember to exfoliate the peeling skin with a soft loofah or pumice to remove the hanging dead skin esp. in a bath or whenever you wash your feet.
My feet are ALMOST spotless (i believe the spots would go after 1 or 2 more applications, not more than that). They are still peeling though as its just been 14 days since my first application. I haven't moisturized my feet since then.
All of this is better explained here

*

P.S. I have NOT been paid by this company in any way and i have not received anything free from this company! The product I have reviewed about is bought by me, I've paid 66AED for it at Spinneys. So if I'm saying it works, it really does and as stated on the pack, this process should be repeated after every 2-3 months and so i will be buying it again.

*the pics on this post are not owned by me. My mistake that i didnt take this product seriously at first and threw away the packaging...

I can't stop bragging about how good this product is :p
Have you used this product? What is your take on it? Any questions or concerns regarding Baby Foot? Feel free to comment or ask...

Till then,

Blissful Life...

Believe it or not but life in Dubai is Divine!!! I know i haven't been blogging but i ain't guilty about it :p (lol), and that is because I've been busy shopping! BLISS!!!

The saddest thing i found out so far is that Urban Decay and NARS aren't sold here anymore, even though the sales women told me that these are pretty fast moving brands. It's just the old stock that they are trying to sell off right now :(:(:(
A lot of Benefit products are out of stock and the left overs are being sold off since they are coming up with a new packaging.

Besides all this I bought products from MUFE, MAC, Too Faced, Bourjois, NARS, Sigma and Konad!!!

The DSF is about to start on the 20th of Jan. so looking forward to it too...

Will post the haul pics soon!!!

Till then,

Stay Gorgeous,

VLCC Kajal...

I am a Kajal(kohl) fanatic and so the type of  products I use "inside" my eyes are of great importance to me! Also my kajal should be dark... very dark actually!
Before VLCC Kajal i used to go for the usual Hashmi Kajal which i feel right now, is pretty average compared to the VLCC Kajal.

AED 15 wt:4.9 grams

When it comes to herbal brands, I completely trust VLCC. It is an India based, international high end brand, which has had ambassadors like the great actress Shabana Azmi (on extreme left) and Vandana Luthra (the owner of VLCC) in the middle.
Read here about VLCC (Vandana Luthra Curls and Curves)

I had joined VLCC for a Toning Treatment and got complimentary discounts on the salon services, and while getting my hair cut and my favorite Paraffin Mani Pedi done the sales lady at the counter showed me a few products that caught my interest. One of them was the VLCC Kajal Tube. I asked her if this one was dark and worth buying. Well she had to say yes, right? After all that's what she was here for! But i took a chance...

What caught my interest was that it contained products which acually brighten your eye. It contains liquorice root extract, natural essence of almond oil, netra anjan, triphala, camphor and indian gooseberry(amla). Liquorice root extract cools your eyes, giving them that perfect shine and almond oil brightens your eyes while triphala helps maintain good vision.
The tube also says that it relaxes your eyes without smudging, though i wouldn't agree on the 'without smudging' part. The kajal does smudge fairly, which I believe is because of the intense dark color and the creamy texture.

The color is extremely dark and intense. The application is smooth. It has a mildy oily/creamy texture. It lasts for a pretty long time (approx 4 to 6 hours). It doesn't irritate the eye and since I'm a contact lens wearer, thankfully no allergies too.
This product is totally herbal and thus safe to use.

So, do you love dark intense eyes? Do you have a favorite kohl/kajal? Lemme know....!

Stay Gorgeous,

Mikyajy Black 1

Hey girls,

I know its been a long time since i posted something, thanks for your tolerance though, and a special thanks to the people who have been there through these tough times.
My baby has been unwell and is still under the weather. I got some time out today to do this little review I've been waiting to do for a long time...

Mikyajy was launched in 1999 and is one of the leading cosmetic brands in the Middle East. Mikyajy products include color cosmetics, skin care products and make up tools.

The Mikyajy Black 1 comes in a black tin box and is an awesome package for people who love dramatic black eyes.

The set includes:

  • A Line and Shadow Pencil.
  • A Dip Eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Eye Crayon
  • Eyeshadow

The colors are highly pigmented and do not fade if worn throughout the day.

The eyeshadow is very intense, think MAC Carbon
The Line and Shadow Pencil is double ended with a smudge brush on the other end. This is an excellent kohl and stays put! I like my kajal really dark and this is the one for me!
I wouldn't rave much about the Mascara. It darkens your lashes though making them look pretty dense. Doesn't do much with the length...
The Jumbo Eye Crayon is a nice multi-use product. It can be used as a kajal or an eyeshadow, it gives a nice smudgy effect.

I bought it around less than a year ago for 150 Dirhams from Al Safeer Mall, Sharjah but you can find it almost at any mall in the U.A.E. I'm not sure if you'd find it outside the Middle East though... I feel its a good cheap alternative to other expensive brands and a set of 5 for 150AED is not a bad deal at all :D

Here's a video by Mikyajy on how to use the Black 1 tin

So do you have a Mikyajy favorite? Have you heard of Mikyajy and is it available where you live? Lemme know... Till then....
